What Keeps You Grounded?
This episode was born out of a need to have a conversation with myself on staying grounded. Of course there are going to be times when we fall in and out of our routines. That’s normal. I’m speaking on the times when we deliberately go against what we know is good for us. As I am typing this, I know that I after this I should get out of bed and eat, but I’ll probably drink some water and stay in bed. Not because I WANT to self sabotage, but because it’s the easiest thing to do. Taking care of ourselves is hard work! Especially when we weren’t given the tools or the resources growing up. Routines as medicine is something we develop not something we are given. Develop your medicine, cultivate it, learn it, love it….take it.
